BELIEF in reincarnation also implies that one believes that life and consciousness can exist without a physical body.
This is still a very difficult if not impossible concept for science today.
Most mainstream science cannot even accept the possibility that consciousness can exist separate from the physical brain, because they believe it is created in the neurons.
In contrast Theosophy teaches that life and consciousness cannot be created or destroyed. And further that the duration between lifetimes of the same individual immortal consciousness is not just 15 or 20 minutes as in scientific studies.
Reincarnation into a new physical body varies from a few hours or weeks, to 1, 500 years and more, depending on the spiritual, mental and emotional development, and also especially the age of someone. Children who have died tragically, as a rule tend to be reborn quickly.
Who knows this to be a fact, and how to they know? According to The Secret Doctrine knowing hidden truths is acquired through the power exercised by initiated Seers, including great Masters such as Buddha and Krishna.
“The flashing gaze of those seers has penetrated
into the very kernel of matter, and recorded
the soul of things there . . . But modern science
believes not in the ‘soul of things.'”
Further: “It is the uninterrupted record covering thousands of generations of Seers,” The Secret Doctrine 1:272 declares, “whose respective experiences were made to test and to verify the traditions passed orally by one early race to another, of the teachings of higher and exalted beings, who watched over the childhood of Humanity.”

Line of many Buddhas.
Now a team of psychologists and medical doctors associated with the Technische University of Berlin announced they had proven, by clinical experimentation, the existence of some form of life after death.
“This astonishing announcement is based on the conclusions of a study using a new type of medically supervised near-death experiences, that allow patients to be clinically dead for almost 20 minutes before being brought back to life.
Proof of Afterlife
Dr. Eben Alexander, US Neurosurgeon, personally experienced an OOB Out of Body event , and a glimpse of the afterlife. The soul persists after physical passing. For his website click here.

“This controversial process that was repeated on 944 volunteers over that last four years, necessitates a complex mixture of drugs including epinephrine and dimethyltryptamine, destined to allow the body to survive the state of clinical death and the reanimation process without damage.
“The body of the subject was then put into a temporary comatic state induced by a mixture of other drugs which had to be filtered by ozone from his blood during the reanimation process 18 minutes later.
“The extremely long duration of the experience was only recently made possible by the development of a new cardiopulmonary recitation (CPR) machine called the AutoPulse. This type of equipment has already been used over the last few years, to reanimate people who had been dead for somewhere between 40 minutes to an hour.

Near-death experiences have been hypothesized in various medical journals in the past, as having the characteristics of hallucinations, but Dr Ackermann and his team, on the contrary, consider them as evidence for the existence of the afterlife and of a form of dualism between mind and body.
“The team of scientists led by Dr Berthold Ackermann, has monitored the operations and have compiled the testimonies of the subjects. Although there are some slight variations from one individual to another, all of the subjects have some memories of their period of clinical death. and a vast majority of them described some very similar sensations.
“Most common memories include a feeling of detachment from the body, feelings of levitation, total serenity, security, warmth, the experience of absolute dissolution, and the presence of an overwhelming light.

Out of body: In another study, conducted by scientists from the University of Southampton, one man even recollected leaving his body entirely and watching his resuscitation from the corner of the room.
“The scientists say that they are well aware the many of their conclusions could shock a lot of people, like the fact that the religious beliefs of the various subjects seems to have held no incidence at all, on the sensations and experiences that they described at the end of the experiment. Indeed, the volunteers counted in their ranks some members are a variety of Christian churches, Muslims, Jews, Hindus and atheists.
“‘I know our results could disturb the beliefs of many people’ says Dr Ackermann. ‘But in a way, we have just answered one of the greatest questions in the history of mankind, so I hope these people will be able to forgive us.
“Yes, there is life after death and it looks like
this applies to everyone.'”

“For logic, consistency, profound philosophy, divine mercy and equity, this doctrine of Reincarnation has not its equal on earth. It is a belief in a perpetual progress for each incarnating Ego, or divine soul, in an evolution from the outward into the inward, from the material to the Spiritual, arriving at the end of each stage at absolute unity with the divine Principle.
“From strength to strength, from the beauty and perfection of one plane to the greater beauty and perfection of another, with accessions of new glory, of fresh knowledge and power in each cycle, such is the destiny of every Ego, which thus becomes its own Saviour in each world and incarnation.”

Yes of course very true. The Mahatma KH wrote:

In fact, the only apparent difference between the waking and dream self experience is the “space-time”, both of which QM already agrees is illusionary. You understand.

Interesting study. He states near the end, “For logic, consistency, profound philosophy, divine mercy and equity, this doctrine of Reincarnation has not its equal on earth.”
Actually, a fractal-like reincarnation happens every time you dream. Your “you in the dream” reincarnates every dream, sometimes the same, sometimes different, and sometimes returning again again to the same “problem” until it’s resolved.
If our waking self is a reincarnation of our “higher self” experiencing itself in a physical world, then this model is very similar to what happens if our “dream self” is a reincarnation of our waking self experiencing itself in a dream world. You understand.
